Heart2Heart is a new online peer-to-peer support group for women over the age of 18 living in Bedfordshire and London who have experienced sexual violence or exploitation, and are struggling with symptoms of Complex Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (Complex PTSD).

This new six month course offers once-a-month sessions with the the aim of providing a safe, welcoming non-judgmental space to feel heard and connected with others who have been through similar experiences.

The sessions will be run by two specially trained, experienced Recovery Code X facilitators. As well as providing a space for sharing experiences and challenges, the sessions will offer psycho education and insight into the neurobiology of trauma to help us make sense of our experience, as well as coping tools and relaxation techniques.

The Heart2Heart programme was the first course I chose on my healing journey, and it was the exact right place to start. I learnt so much about myself and my experiences.

I was even able to take what I had learnt to my mental health consultant, challenging his BPD and PTSD diagnoses with what I had learnt and he himself agreed that I have cPTSD... I was never unstable. I was triggered... a lot!
